He was so dry his lips stuck together when he tried to meow and he could not make any sound at all. But he was so happy to see me and his personality was bright and friendly, even in that condition. He absorbed water like a sponge but was so starved that he almost could not eat. He held dry food in his mouth and then just let it drop. I finally got him to eat some moist food.
